Welcome to
The Dukes Head
Tucked away in the heart of the village, The Dukes Head is a much-loved traditional country pub in Kent, serving the local community and visitors alike. Whether you’re after a relaxed pint, a hearty Sunday roast, or somewhere to gather with friends and family, you’ll find a warm welcome here.
A Pub with Character
Our classic Tudor-style building is full of charm, inside and out. Step through the doors and you’ll find a cosy bar, dining areas full of rustic character, and a spacious beer garden that’s perfect for sunny afternoons. We also have a pool table tucked away in the bar area, ideal for friendly games over a pint. We’re a dog-friendly pub too, so well-behaved four-legged friends are always welcome inside and out. With real ales on tap, a varied menu of freshly prepared meals, and regular events throughout the year, we offer something for everyone.
Proud to be local
We’re proud to be at the heart of village life. From quiz nights and charity fundraisers to family-friendly gatherings and seasonal celebrations, The Dukes Head is a place for the whole community to enjoy. We champion local suppliers
wherever we can and love bringing people together over good food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.
We’re also proud to support our local teams, including the Monday night pool side — recent league champions — whose success adds to the vibrant, friendly spirit of the pub.
Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, we hope you feel at home. Families, walkers and their dogs are all welcome, whether you’re joining us for a drink, a meal or one of our regular events. There’s always a warm welcome waiting for you at our traditional country pub in the heart of Hamstreet.
